Now You See It…Now You Don’t!

On Saturday, March 28th, the world celebrated “Earth Hour”. Participants turned off lights for an hour from 8:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. to raise awareness about global warming and greenhouse gas emissions. The event got people talking and persuaded them to become engaged in the cause.

What are you doing to generate buzz about your products and promotions?  Don’t fade away into the night! Email Marketing and Social Media Optimization are great vehicles to reach out to customers.  Also, consider using banners or videos to spice up your website; you can do some great, fun things with visuals!

Be sure you aren’t falling off the PPC radar; now is the time to ramp up and solidify your online presence. Freshen your ads with new ones, but keep your best-converting ads as well.  Consider a spring-themed message for new ads, but be sure to pause those once summer arrives. Check bids to ensure your keywords aren’t going “inactive” and thus preventing your ads from appearing.  Work with a marketing calendar so you are always aware of what events, holidays and seasons may present marketing opportunities for you.
