Do you use MSN adCenter? If so, be wary of some of the following system “nuances”:
> Double-check reporting figures; MSN tends to miscalculate CPA and Conversion Rates.
> When viewing campaign data for “all-time”, you may see no data; try to refresh or try an actual date range.
> Content network will be turned on by default; I recommend leaving it off, but setting up separate content campaigns for when you would like to target the content network (and turn “search” off within content campaigns) .
> Conversion tracking must be manually turned on in each campaign, even after it has already been installed within the account.
> Revenue does not automatically track; you can tag your url’s via tracking links through your analytics program or Yahoo store (if applicable), if you choose.
Unfortunately, MSN doesn’t make life easy when it comes to PPC, but at least you can be on guard for these MSN-isms. Good luck!
