The Heart Of A Cactus

A Solid Cactus employee recently reached out to fellow Shavertown and Wilkes-Barre coworkers to help a friend who is suffering from leukemia. Due to the inability to work and skyrocketing medical expenses, the friend is having difficulty paying for basic necessities such as groceries.

All one had to do was ask, and in flooded a variety of non-perishable, health-conscious foods and an array of toiletry necessities. Once all was said and done, we collected hundreds of dollars of items which filled three baskets.

The friend was overwhelmed with emotion and appreciation. So, it all goes to show you, not only do we have tons of talent here at Solid Cactus, but our people have hearts of gold, too!
